Code practice oscillator... not working noob needs HELP!

https://www.circuitlab.com/circuit/qp2r2q/code-practice-oscillator/ New to this forum and i hope i am in the right place. Trying to get to simulate and I get errors... looked at other public files but i am missing something... any help would be appreciated. Thanks

You have several problems.

i) Multiple power supplies due to V1 and +9V and -9V net labels:

https://www.circuitlab.com/circuit/a5bzf7/good-netname-and-a-free-voltage-source/

ii) 555 Incorrectly wired as astable. The pin names on device symbols do have some relevance to their function:

https://www.circuitlab.com/circuit/e38756/555-timer-as-astable-multivibrator-oscillator/

iii) You have a drawn box and some text that says "Speaker" but you have no speaker:

iv) Not your fault at all but CL's 555 model only works at 5V. You are trying to run it at 9V:

Ok, I went through and changed some om the connections... I know it still is wrong, hopefully you could tell me what I have done wrong.

@mountainjack,

You will make more progress if you stop getting overexcited about this and do some studying.

Your circuits have fundamental mistakes that suggest that at present you have insufficient knowledge to just sit down and draw a working schematic from scratch.

Calm down and spend some time reading the 555 wiki page and some of the references including the device datasheets and examples.

Look at the example circuits in those datasheets and the CL 555 timer examples above.

Try to understand how the device works and what the names and functions are of each pin.

If you can't understand how the device operates then you need to take a few steps further back and learn some more basic electronics.

Have a look at:

you know you can use a speaker a cap and a resistor used to be all the best ray guns used them
