I am building a peddle-powered airplane for my son. It will actually be powered by a battery and electric motor. I would like the sound to change pitch with motor or axle speed. Any ideas? Im stumped. |

A whistle? To not penalize the propeller too much, have it under a cylinder disk, close to the axis of rotation. Have its weight "balanced" to not increase the torque instability. |

How are you controlling motor speed? If there's a control voltage, it could also feed to some kind of electronic sound generator (probably using a voltage-controlled oscillator in combination with other things.) |
