I was told to find Req, I am confused on how I am supposed to know that Req is (R1 + R2) || (R3). How do I know that this is the equivalent resistance and not (R2+R3) || (R1)? Thank you for any help!! |

Your picture does not show the terminals of the circuit and without this information the question is meaningless. No wonder you are confused. |
