Servo control with TTL

I need help understanding why I can't use a 74LS00 to control the PWM signal to a servo.

If a servo type PWM signal is inverted will it still work? I'll try a non-inverting gate.

Yup. I wasn't thinking. Servos won't operate with inverted signal.

The 74LS00 is a basic logic gate, not a dedicated PWM generator. It can't produce the specific pulse frequency and duty cycle required for servo control. a small world cup

Yes. But to switch on and off a PWM channel, a 7400 NAND gate fails because it inverts. A 7408 is required.
