I have a device which requires 8 VDC and 1.3 amp power. Can i use 8 VDC power supply providing 3 Amp with it ? By providing more amperes is there any chance that the device circuit would be harmed ? |

An 8V dc device taking 1.3A can run from any supply of 8V dc providing at least 1.3A, so your 8V 3A supply is sufficient. |
