Clicking and dragging anywhere on the screen does not move the background, so if my circuit gets hidden in a corner, it is hard to zoom out, zoom in on to it. Could you implement a click-drag feature? Or a center-and-zoom feature? That would help a lot.

They're already there.

In the schematic editor look under Edit:

Zoom in = Ctrl+

Zoom out = Ctrl-

Zoom fit

Also, to drag the schematic area:

Drag schematic = Ctrl+Left click and hold.
