What voltage source as, listed in Circuit Lab, can I use to model a solar cell or solar panel as a voltage source? |

I've been doing it using a plain old dc battery from the parts bin. Of course you have to set the voltage to the level you expect from the solar panel. Also a solar panel has a substantial internal resistance so you have to set the battery ESR to the internal resistance of the panel you are simulating. On my panel the internal resistance is shown on the label. |
