From the specs that I can reach, that assembly is rated 2W, 700mA, 2.9V. The specs are in Russian, which I don't read, but their graph Voltage (volt, x axis) versus current (mA, y axis) stops at 3.3V (for 3 A). ref.: Cree XM-L t6 -- specs Since a single 18650 can store up to 4.2 volt (unknown maximum current at that voltage), there are clearly some "missing details" which are pertinent to formulate an answer. |
