I have a motion sensor that gives me an output of 110v for 10 seconds and i need to reduce the amount of time to 2 seconds maximum. On the output I'm connecting an adapter to work with 12v dc, what options do i have? |

The 10 seconds output, it is AC or DC? If it is DC, you can probably detect the raising front of the signal and then, generate a 2 second signal from a 555 or a microcontroller (the latter being less energy hungry). It would be a matter to use that 2 seconds long pulse, instead of the 10 seconds one. |
