Does anyone here have a model for an LM13700 (or any generic transconductance amplifier for that matter), or know how to simulate one fairly accurately? |

I tried simulating the circuit of 1/2 13700, complete with the correct SPICE parameters for the transistors, but it doesn't work. |

Solved! - very silly to follow the TI schematic verbatim Of course the diodes have to be PN junctions identical to the transistors in order to give a current mirror. For the benefit of anyone else wanting to do it, this works. Note the bias voltages needed to make it symmetrical are not identical to a real 13700, but this simulation is OK for my purposes. |
