Circuit of a small electric arc

Hello every one, I'm searching for a simplified circuit that will generate an electric arc of a certain value of voltage with a certain value of current, Some people advise me to use a condenser with a source of electricity and a resistor, but I don't expect that this will work perfectly in this way. the purpose behind my project is to generate a amount of electricity by a control of an arduino uno, in order to avoid a person to touch the door if it is prohibited, without hurting him so much, which means the values should be in the second zone of security. If anyone can give me a solution or a suggestion to solve this problem, please help me by answering this question, thank you for reading and answering.

Locking the said door is much more practical. Intentionnaly hurting someone can be a criminal offense, and considered as an armed attack, since it would surely not be " bare hand ", or weapon less. .

I don't have the intention to hurt the person so hard, but just to avoid him to touch again, and that why I'm asking now, because it's hard to choose values that will be in the safe zone. in other words, the person should just feel it not hurting him too much, besides this will be for persons who try to access in somewhere that is completely forbidden, and they try although they know

Unfortunately, if that blind a two years old child who can' t read the sign, since his eyes where at just the right level, that would be much much serious that someone complaining the a cofee at McDonald was too hot without any warning about it, isn't it?

You're right , but what I'm talking about will be in serious places when children can not exist, like banks, or...., and don't be worry, it's just an idea that I'm trying to create it, just for me and to pass a small exam, that will help me in the coming months

For gosh sakes listen to vandergast. I did work on this stuff many years ago, assisting medical research and it's not something for an amateur to fool with. The problems are that skin resistance can vary greatly from person to person and rapidly with time for the same person. This means that you cannot predict the current produced by a voltage based apparatus which is an invitation to disaster. Also the effect of any given current depends on the path it takes through the body--arm to arm (through the heart) may very well cause cardial fibrilation. A much different job I had years later involved investigation of electrical accidents, in one case a child killed by a shock from 110 volts and another in which a workman was not killed by accidentally contacting a 110000 volt power transmission line--that's how unpredictable it is.
