we can use LR8 voltage regulator to get high variable voltages upto 400V. Like that is there any IC we can use for 0 to 150V variable power supply? |

The LM 117/217/317 family do up to 37V. Over that it is possibly the LR8 again. If you try to make a variable supply be careful about the total dissipation, at high voltage drops (high in and low out) you can pass only a very small current. The best supply I ever saw used a variac on the input side combined with a pot to set the exact chip output. |
