I can’t charge a 6 pak of super caps with a small motor generator

I have a 6 pak 120f super caps and cant charge them with a small generator, I can charge with a battery and a 12v power pack.My question is what do you need to charge it? Have tried buck boost, buck converters it will not accept the output voltage up or down. Is there a schematic that’s available to follow? What is I lack current from the generator , a higher voltage ( this is small dc generator puts out about 15v) I have tried just about everything but obviously not the right one. 1. make sure that your generator has 12VDC (not AC) or similar voltage output.
  2. make sure that position connected position, neg. to neg.
  3. charge enough time. large capacitor needs long time to charge if charging current is small.
