Hi everyone! There are different HDMI cables, latest ones are HDMI 2.0 and HDMI 2.1. I have a 19pin HDMI Connector that is going to be mounted on a pcb for testing. I am curious and it feels like the egg or chicken question! Haha….however, I would like to know is it the HDMI connector on the pcb or is it the cable itself setting the output to 1080p (FHD) or 2160p (UHD)? Can I have the same HDMI connector for both 2.0 and 2.1 HDMI cable? Thanks in advance for your help! Sarah |
