Hey all,

I am having some trouble with swtiches (SPST switches). I get the expected result in their closed states but for some reason getting something weird when they are left open.

I have a current source which is to be involved in the main circuitry only when the switch is closed. But for some reason the results in the below (supposedly equivalent) cases turn out to be different:

1> Keeping the switch open, thus not having the current source as part of the circuit (tried this with both a single switch as well as two switches.... one on either side of the current source)

2> Deleting the current source and the switches

3> Setting the current source to 0 A

Cases 2 and 3 give the same result..... but case 1 gives me results that I cannot figure out their origin.

Possibly there is nothing wrong with the results but I might just be lacking in interpreting it. Could you help me out in either case.
