I am experiencing visual lag in the workbench when there is a lot going on (i.e. lots of components). Dragging the view around stutters and lags for me, same with placing components. There is no lag with just 1 component on the grid, but the lag grows exponentially with each component placed. |

Hi skull905, Can you post a public circuit that is experiencing this issue, and let me know what browser you are using? We can look into it. Humberto |

Hi skull905. We highly recommend using chrome. Their javascript and SVG engines tend to perform better. If you can post a link to a public circuit that would still be quite helpful though. It is easier for us to isolate a problem from a real circuit than from a video. Humberto |

I dont belive the problem exsist is a specific circuit, it just lags when the circuit has alot of components, any public circuit with alot of components lag. theres not just one specific circuit that lags. But this circuit lagged so much it crashed my browser https://www.circuitlab.com/circuit/33e683/digital-3-bit-rom/ |

I definitely suggest trying Chrome. Especially on less powerful computers, Chromes faster javascript engine really makes a difference. Humberto |

I am using chrome now and everything is working better. Also I don’t think computer power is currently an issue with the problem, here is my setup. i7-950 quad core unparked at 3.1 GHZ, ASUS x58 motherboard, 12gb ram Kinston HyperX triple channel ddr3, ATI Radeon 7870hd 3 GB ddr5, Western digital caviar black 2tb, I can supply a dxdiag for you if you want to look into this problem further. I will do some more tests and investigations as to why Firefox is giving me trouble but not chrome. |
