voltage sensor design

Hi

I am trying to build a battery overcharging protection circuit. When the AA battery is full charged, the current will be shut off. Could anyone give me any ideas about the circuit design, please? Thanks a lot.

You need a reference voltage, a comparator - with hysteresis to stop it chattering as the charger turns off - and a switch.

More googling required.

Use an Arduino. It has a built in AD converter that you can use to read the voltage. It has digital outputs that you can individually set to control any digital device. Best of all, it's done in software so it's easy to trouble shoot.
