Summary

Circuit that uses operational amplifiers to generate Vout = Vin^2. Approximately accurate over 0 <= Vin <= 5 V.

Description

The first stage scales down the input because the diode stages alone generate Vout = 40 Vin^2. The input resistor values were determined empirically. The center multiplier diode ratio is not exactly 2 and was also chosen empirically. The diode was chosen for an ideality factor of one from the component models provided.
