Hello everyone I am using IPC313N10N3R die as HB configuration for PCB embedded Boost converter. I tested 12 to 48 V open-loop converter at 23Khz, at 8A load, it was working (even though I saw unusual behavior, with increasing load, efficiency decreases). I increase the switching frequency to 100Khz at the same condition of load, my HB damaged. As silicon die is also mean to work till 100Khz, I was monitoring temperature, and it was under limit during damage. I didn't get the region behind the damage. What might be the cause of this? I am using an 8.6uH inductor with 19mOhm ESR at 100Khz and 1EdI series gate driver with zero gate resistance. Sincerely your's Keshar Rawal |
