First Circuit - Solar Powered Fan

I'm new to electronics and working on building a mini solar powered fan as my first ciruit. Ideally I'd like to add an LED that lights up if the solar panels are producing and maybe one more if the motor is running. I'll use one switch rather than 3 separate ones when I build it. I'm open to any suggestions or ideas on how to make this more efficient.
