Richter Original "12V-SuperDuper Fuzz" with Bright Switch

Richter Original "12V-SuperDuper Fuzz" with Bright switch and basic Tone control. Uses one 12AL8 space-charge tube containing one triode and one tetrode in the same glass envelope. The triode is for small-signal audio-signal voltage amplification (i.e., a preamp), and the tetrode is an audio-signal driver. The tube was designed to be used with a single +12VDC supply-voltage on the plates AND the heater. Available as a NOS tube from The Tube Store. https://www.thetubestore . Controls Include: Input Level, Bright switch, Drive, Fuzz enable switch, Fuzz symmetry switches, Fuzz Depth, Tone, and Volume. Inspired by the Supro "Super" guitar amplifier. Experimental circuitry. Notes On The 12AL8: According to reports, both sections of the sound good, despite being a low-voltage tube. The triode is said to be warm, low-noise, with clear mids and a subtle attack; offering classic preamp-tube tone. It can be overdriven by using a moderate-to-high-gain pedal on the input. The tetrode provides 12AX7-style coloration, though warmer, and with a little less compression. It can be overdriven by the triode. No harshness. And its distortion is laden with even-order harmonics.
