Richter Original "FaceRite Fuzz" for 6-string electric guitar. Controls Include: Fuzz 1 Input Gain, Fuzz 1 Drive, Tone, Fuzz 2 enable switch, Fuzz 2 symmetry switches, Fuzz 2 Depth, Fuzz 3 Phase, and master Volume. Fuzz 1 Section based on Dallas-Arbiter "Fuzz Face". Fuzz 2 Section is a shunt-type diode array using Schottky diodes. The symmetry switches set the harmonic content of Fuzz 2. Fuzz 3 Section is based on Mosrite "FuzzRite". Frequency Range 61 Hz to 26 kHz. Suitable for 6-string electric guitar. Maximum Gain = +21 dBV @ 160 Hz with all controls at 50%, or +54 dBV @ 250 Hz with the Gain control at 100% but all other controls at 50%. The Phase control adjusts between fixed phases. Circuit can be for stomp-box or rackmount projects. The battery can be replaced by a regulated single-polarity DC supply providing +9VDC or +12VDC or +15VDC @ >= 50 mA of current. While simulator verified, treat the circuit as experimental. Breadboard test before soldering. House in a grounded metal enclosure.
