DEPRICATED, see J1772 EVSE HSS, it works better
This version is simple, but the inverter can't drive the low (NPN closed) state close enough to zero, and some vehicles are not registering a cross through. The actual specification requires a negative pass, but it also calls for a diode, which entirely defeats the purpose of all the complexity of making a +/-12v source.
