Summary

A simple moisture sensor for your plants. Use 2 nails encased in gypsum for a cheap moisture sensor solution.

Description

This is a redesign of a simple moisture sensor I found online for the arduino. Solder wires to nails (1 wire - 1 nail) then dip 2 nails into a gypsum container about 1/4in apart. After its dry take it out of the container and drop it in soil. After that you can read the resistance change as you water your plants.
