Summary

A cicuit providing feedback regarding motor operation on the DO Bot One

Description

This circuit is designed for the DO Bot One experiment, which aims to develop a very cheap robot for swarm experiments. The robot is based on a frame from AREXX which can be bought for ~15 Euros and provides a left and right motor. An H-Bridge controller from Sparkfun is used to drive these motors, but feedback regarding their operation is not a feature of this controller. The circuit is designed to operate in two polarities, using the voltage drop over the shunt.

The parts inside the boxes on the left and the right are provided to enable simulation, the left box playing the part of the Arduino and the right box emulating the motor.
