Booster Circuit for the Superluminal Distortion Circuit
Booster circuit for the Superluminal Distortion Circuit. Place it after the Superluminal Distortion Circuit. This circuit has two gain stages, one shunt-type Schottky-diode array, and a Fender-style tone-stack. Controls Include: Fuzz enable switch, Fuzz symmetry switches, Fuzz Depth, Boost Level, Bass, Mid, Treble, Stack Sum, Boost Gain, and Master Volume. Use Input 1 here for the signal from the Superluminal Distortion Circuit, and Input 2 for the signal from Out 2 of the Superluminal Distortion Driver. Frequency Range here is 12 Hz to 12 kHz with all controls at 50%, or 10 Hz to 60 kHz with all controls at 100%. Maximum Gain = +25.5 dBV @ 100 Hz with all controls at 50%, or +47.8 dBV @ 100 Hz with all controls at 100%. Power-supply not shown. Requires a regulated dual-polarity DC supply providing +-9VDC or +-12VDC or +-15VDC at >= 20 mA of current. And though simulator verified, treat the circuit as experimental. Breadboard test before committing to a soldered build.
