Mixer Section for the Hex-Preamp design.
This is the Mixer Section for the Hex-Preamp design shown in three parts at this website; Input Section, Mixer Section, and Output Section. This 8-chnnel mixer is for combining the six signals from the Input Section that accepts the outputs of a hex-pickup (SubSix, available at https://submarinepickup.com) and a normal Direct guitar signal, plus an Auxiliary signal (if needed). The Input Section includes separate preamp-out outputs for all eight signals (to send to separate power-amps), while this Section has only one fully-mixed output going to the full-mix Output Section. However, it also includes a signal booster after the summing-amp. Power-supply for this section not shown. Requires a regulated dual-polarity +-15 VDC power-supply providing >= 100 mA of current. Experimental Circuit! Fully breadboard test before committing to a soldered build. A purpose-designed power-supply for the complete Hex-Preamp is shown on this website. Also, see the complete Hex-Amp System under "Amplifiers" at https://kurtusrichtersblog.com .
