CircuitLab can be used to model some mechanical systems as well.
We can simulate the effect of a mass-spring-dashpot system under an external force. The current parameters are m=10 (kg), k=100 (N/m), d=10 (N*s/m). Load it up, run the time simulation, and tweak the spring force and dashpot to see a range of second-order responses!
