Description

Richter Original "FuzzODist" Overdrive. Overdrive circuit with feedback-Schottky fuzz, overdriven op-amp distortion, and 2-band tone with adjustable mid-center. Controls Include: Input Gain, Bass, MId-Center, Treble, Drive, Fuzz enable switch, Fuzz symmetry switches, Fuzz Depth, Distortion Gain, Distortion, Output Gain, and Volume. IC1 chosen to ensure clean operation of Input Stage and Tone controls, regardless of control settings. IC2 chosen to provide tube-like distortion when overdriven. Frequency Range is from 50 Hz to 15 kHz with all controls at 50%, but which extends in both directions with all controls set > 50%. Suitable for 6-string guitar only. Maximum Gain = +36 dBV with all controls at 50%, qualifying circuit for overdrive category. Circuit can be used for stomp-box or rackmount projects. Power-supply not shown. Requires a regulated dual-polarity DC supply providing +-9VDC or +-12VDC or +-15VDC at >= 40 mA of current. And though simulator verified, treat the circuit as experimental. Breadboard test before soldering.
