Output Section for Hex-Preamp.
This is the Output Section for the RS-Timbre: Hex-Preamp design given in this website in three parts; Input Section, Mixer Section, and Output Section, plus a power-supply circuit for the entire preamp. This Section accepts the full-mix signal from the Mixer Section, routes it through a 2-band James-style tone-control circuit, includes a Fuzz option involving Schottky diodes in a feedback-type (soft-clipping) array that can be switched on or off, an output gain stage with a normal output, plus an extra buffered output. This Section's output is intended to provide a monaural signal to effects, digital processors, power-amps, high-impedance PA inputs, or recording gear involving the six separate string signals and the normal guitar signal, plus an auxiliary signal (if used). Power-supply for this secction not shown. Requires a regulated dual-polarity +-15 VDC power-supply providing >= 40 mA of current. However, a purpose-designed power-supply circuit for the entire Hex-Preamp project is shown at this website. Experimental Circuitry! Fully breadboard test before committing to a soldered build. And see Hex-Amp under "Amplifiers" at https://kurtusrichtersblog.com .
