1-of-4 Exclusive-Selector Channel-Switching Circuit
Circuit 2 in the Dream-Rig Project. 1-of-4 Exclusive Selector channel-switching circuit. Allows clean-switch selection between 4 audio-signal channels connected using ordinary 1/4" patch-cords or guitar-cables. Only one channel will be enabled at a time, depending on the press of a remote momentary footswitch; one for each channel, plus one extra footswitch for a Clear function that disables all channels, and at which all channels will remain disabled until one of the Channel Switches is pressed. Example Setup: Channel 1 with patch-cord for clean signal, Channel 2 with a clean boost, Channel 3 with a fuzz pedal set for same or more gain than Channel 2, and Channel 4 with a fuzz pedal set for more gain than Channel 3. Requires a dual-polarity +-9VDC power-supply. Do not use any other supply voltage. Experimental circuitry. Breadboard test before committing to a soldered build.
