100W Guitar-Amp with 3-Band Tone and Diode Fuzz
100-watt RMS solid-state power-amp for guitar with 3-band Fender-style tone-stack and shunt-type Schottky-diode fuzz. Controls Include: Input Level, Bass, Mid, Treble, Stack Sum, HP Filter Level, Drive, and Volume. Frequency Range 20 Hz to 6 kHz with all controls at 50%, or 12 Hz to 40 kHz with all controls at 100%. Suitable for 6/7/8-string guitar or 4/5/6-string bass. High gain circuit. Maximum Gain = +53 dBV @ 160 Hz with all controls at 50%, or +84.8 dBV @ 160 Hz with all controls at 100%. Intended as a high-gain, high-power guitar-amp for use in large-sized venues (e.g., concert halls, indoor/outdoor arenas, sports stadiums, etc.). [Caution! Wear ear protection or stand 30 feet away if using at high volume levels.] Power-supply not shown. Requires two DC supplies; one regulated dual-polarity +-15VDC @ >= 40 mA for the op-amps, and one unregulated dual-polarity +40VDC @ 3A for the power-amp IC.
