RS-Timbre "JI2SM Booster". JFET-input Booster circuit with 2-stage MOSFET fuzz and 2-band tone. Controls Include: Input Level, Input Gain, Bass, Center, Treble, Main Drive, Fuzz Gain, Fuzz Drive, Fuzz Level, Direct Level, and Volume. Overdriven MOSFETs provide tube-like fuzz effect, mixable with the Direct signal, and overdriving the Input Stage will add pleasing solid-state distortion. Frequency range is from 100 Hz to > 20 kHz, with emphasis on mids. Designed specifically for 6-string electric guitar (not recommended for 7/8-string guitar or bass-guitar). Maximum gain with all controls at 50% is +19.2 dBV @ 1 kHz, and twice that with controls at 100%. The circuit is meant for stomp-box projects, but the battery can be replaced by a regulated single-polarity DC supply providing +9VDC or +12VDC or +15VDC at >= 50 mA of current. And though simulator verified, treat as experimental. Breadboard test before soldering.
