Feedback LED Fuzz Circuit with 2-Band Tone and Treble Boost
Feedback-type LED fuzz circuit with 2-band tone, frequency center control, and treble boost. Controls Include: Drive, Gain 1, Treble Boost, Gain 2, Fuzz enable switch, Fuzz symmetry switches, Bass, Center, Treble, and Volume. Frequency Range 25 Hz to 8 kHz with all controls at 50%, or 30 Hz to 50 kHz with Treble Boost at 100% but all other controls at 50%. Suitable for 6/7/8-string guitar or 4/5/6-string bass. Example gains per frequency with all controls at 50% are; +34.7 dBV @ 160 Hz, +21.7 dBV @ 1 kHz, and -6 dBV @ 10 kHz. Example gains per frequency with Treble Boost at 100% but all other controls at 50% are; +33 dBV @ 160 Hz, +35.7 dBV @ 1 kHz, and +28.4 dBV @ 10 kHz. Maximum possible gain is >= +70 dBV with all controls at 100%. Power-supply not shown. Requires a regulated dual-polarity DC supply providing +-9VDC or +-12VDC or +-15VDC at >= 40 mA of current. And though simulator verified, treat the circuit as experimental. Breadboard test before soldering.
