3-Band Tone Control Based On State Variable Filter Circuit
RS-Timbre "SVF Tone Control". 3-band tone-control based on a state variable filter (SVF) circuit, with mixable direct signal. Controls Include: Gain, Direct level, SVF Drive, Negative Feedback (-FB), Positive Feedback (+FB), High-Pass (HP) level, Bandpass (BP) level, Low-Pass (LP) level, and master Volume. Frequency range 20 Hz to 25 kHz with all controls at 50%. Suitable for 6/7/8-string guitar or 4/5/6-string bass. Specified ICs ensure clean operation at all control settings. Maximum Gain = +17.4 dBV @ 1 kHz with all controls at 50%, or +35.4 dBV @ 1 kHz with all controls at 100%. The -FB control imposes a dip at 160 Hz while the +FB control flattens all lows and overrides the -FB control. Power-supply not shown. Requires a regulated dual-polarity DC supply providing +-9VDC or +-12VDC or +-15VDC at >= 60 mA of current. And though simulator verified, treat the circuit as experimental. Breadboard test it before soldering.
