Power-supply circuit for 60W Guitar-Amp. Provides regulated dual-polarity +-12V DC @ 400 mA for IC1, and unregulated dual-polarity +-30V DC @ 2A for IC2. Features an illuminated power switch, separate power transformers with center-tapped secondaries, separate full-wave bridge rectifiers, and sufficient filter capacitors to ensure optimally smooth supply voltages. Shield the transformers from the rest of the circuitry. House entire project in a grounded but well-vented metal enclosure. Heatsink the regulators. And an external or built-in fan is recommended.
