Description

30W RMS solid-state guitar amplifier with 2-band active tone. Controls Include: Input Level, Gain, Bass, Treble, Drive, and Volume. No fuzz, distortion, or other effects. This is a clean solid-state guitar-amp intended for use in home or studio. Range at or above 0 dBV is from 30 Hz to 8 kHz with all controls at 50%, or 15 Hz to 20 kHz with all controls at 100%. Suitable for 6/7/8-string electric guitar or 4/5/6-string bass. Maximum Gain = +39.5 dBV @ 400 Hz with all controls at 50%, or +65 dBV @ 250 Hz with all controls at 100%. Power-supplies not shown. Requires two supplies; one regulated dual-polarity +-12VDC @ >= 40 mA for the op-amps, and one unregulated dual-polarity +-25VDC @ 1A for the power-amp IC. And though simulator verified, treat the circuit as experimental. Breadboard test before committing to a soldered build. House circuitry in a grounded metal enclosure.
