Guitar Preamp with Bass & Treble Boost plus LED-Fuzz
Guitar preamp with active bass and treble boost, plus LED-fuzz. Controls include: Input Level, Drive, Fuzz enable switch, Fuzz Level, Bass Boost Intensity, Bass Boost level, Treble Gain, Treble Boost level, and Volume. Suitable for stomp-box or rack-mount applications. Power-supply not shown. Requires regulated dual-polarity supply providing one of the following: +-9VDC, +-12VDC, or +-15VDC. Count minimum of 3 mA of available current per op-amp (e.g., 20 mA total draw). Will accept signals from 6/7/8-string guitars or 4/5/6-string bass-guitars. Low-gain. Maximum total circuit gain = 10 dBV @ 1 kHz (i.e, Vo/Vi <= 3.2). Though verified, treat as experimental. Breadboard test before committing to soldered build. And house completed project in a grounded metal enclosure, to prevent EMF interference.
