RS-Timbre "Triple-Fuzz Overdrive" circuit with 2-band tone and 4 stages of gain. Controls Include: Input Gain, Bass, Center, Treble, Fuzz 1 Enable switch, Fuzz 1 symmetry switches, Fuzz 1 Depth, Drive, Fuzz 2 Enable switch, Fuzz 2 symmetry switches, Fuzz 2 Depth, Intensity, Fuzz 3 Enable switch, Fuzz 3 symmetry switches, Fuzz 3 Enable, and Volume. Three fuzz voices are separately selectable. Fuzz 1 is from Schottky diodes in a shunt-type array. Fuzz 2 is from standard silicon diodes in a feedback-type of array. Fuzz 3 is from LEDs in a feedback-type of array. The circuit's frequency range is from 10 Hz to 10 kHz with all controls at 50%, but which extends in both directions with controls > 50%. Suitable for 6/7/8-string guitar and 4/5/6-string bass. Maximum gain = +34 dBV @ 250 Hz with all controls at 50%, or twice that with all controls at 100%. The circuit can be used for a stomp-box or rackmount project. The battery can be replaced by a regulated single-polarity DC supply providing +9VDC or +12VDC or +15VDC at >= 40 mA of current. And while simulator verified, treat the circuit as experimental. Breadboard test before soldering.
