Mixer Section for a Hex-Preamp design.
This is the Mixer Section for a Hex-Preamp design shown in three parts; Input Section, Mixer Section, and Output Section. The Mixer is for combining the six signals from the six channels of the Input Section that accepts the six outputs of a hex-pickup (the SubSix from https://submarinepickup.com). It also allows for mixing a Direct and an Auxiliary signal with the six independent string signals. The Input Section includes separate preamp-out outputs for all eight signals, while this Section, the Mixer Section, has only one internal output which feeds the fully mixed signal to the Output Section. However, it also includes a signal booster after the summing-amp. Power-supply not shown. Requires a regulated dual-polarity +-15 VDC power-supply providing up to 50 mA of current. Experimental Circuit! Fully breadboard test before committing to a soldered build. A purpose-designed power-supply is shown on this website. And see the complete Hex-Amp System under "Amplifiers" at https://kurtusrichtersblog.com .
