High-Gain 2-Voiced Diode Fuzz Circuit with 3-Band Tone
High-gain hard-clipping diode-fuzz circuit with 2 fuzz voices, 2 gain stages, and a Fender-style 3-band tone-stack. Controls Include: Input Gain, Drive, Fuzz enable switch, Normal Fuzz switch, Normal Fuzz symmetry switches, Normal Fuzz Trim, Deep Fuzz switch, Deep Fuzz symmetry switches, Deep Fuzz Trim, Bass, Mid, Treble, Stack Sum, Output Gain, and Volume. Suitable for stomp-box or rack-mount applications. The battery can be replaced by a regulated single-polarity +9V DC supply providing >= 20 mA of current. Frequency range is from < 20 Hz to > 20 kHz. Good for 6/7/8-string guitar or 4/5/6-string bass-guitar, in standard tuning. Maximum gain = +30.6 dBV @ 2.5 kHz with all controls at 50%, or +52.8 dBV @ 2.5 kHz with all accept the three tone-controls at 100%. Though simulator verified, treat circuit as experimental. Breadboard test before committing to a soldered build.
