In order to be useful this circuit fragment needs 1. A constant current source. That might be provided by a battery and a J113 JFET (JAMECO). 2. A transmitter for either voltage or, preferably, 4-20mA current including a way to zero and span the output. 3. A 5V power source, regulated.
