Output Section for Hex-Preamp.
This is the Output Section for the Hex-Preamp design given in this website in three parts: The Input Section, the Mixer Section, and the Output Section, plus a power-supply circuit for the entire project. This Section accepts the full-mix signal from the Mixer Section, routes it through a 2-band James-style tone-control circuit, includes a Fuzz option involving Schottky diodes in a feedback-type (soft-clipping) array that can be switched on or off, an output gain stage with a normal output, plus an extra buffered output. This Section's output is intended to provide a fully mixed Hex-Preamp signal to effects, digital processors, power-amps, high-impedance PA inputs, or recording gear. Power-supply not shown. Requires a regulated dual-polarity +-15 VDC power-supply providing up to 20 mA of current. However, a purpose-designed power-supply circuit for the entire Hex-Preamp project is shown at this website. Experimental Circuitry! Fully breadboard test before committing to a soldered build. See complete Hex-Amp System under "Amplifiers" heading at https://kurtusrichtersblog.com .
