Highly Modified DOD 250 Overdrive Circuit
Highly modified DOD 250 Overdrive circuit with second gain-stage and Fender-style 3-band tone-stack. Controls Include: Input Gain, Fuzz enable switch, Fuzz Symmetry Switches (SSW), Fuzz Depth, Drive 1, Output Gain, Drive 2, High Trim, Low Trim, Bass, Mid, Treble, and Volume. Suitable for stomp-box or rack-mount applications. Range > 0 dBV is from 16 Hz to 16 kHz. Thus, circuit is suitable for 6/7/8-string guitar or 4/5/6-string bass, in standard tuning. Maximum gain = +24.6 (Vo/Vi = 20.2) @ 1 kHz with all controls at 50%, or +50 dBV (Vo/Vi = 316) from 250 Hz to 1 kHz with all but tone controls and fuzz depth control at 100%. Do not use with all controls at 100% except as a worst case test while breadboarding. Circuit can be used as the basis of a stomp-box or a rack-mount project. The battery can be replaced by a regulated single-polarity +9V DC power-supply providing >= 20 mA of current.
