Stacking bulk and decoupling capacitors?

Can you physically stack the SMD components on a single footprint or buy pre-stacked chips? I'd like to minimize the layout size and component count for some boards I'm making by hand, is there anything that can be done to simplify the case where you have parallel bulk (say 10u) and decoupling (0.1u) capacitors or would doing so negate the effect of the decoupling capacitor?
