Does anyone have any ideas on how to replace a fan for a Tube Works MosValve MV-962 power amplifier? It works great except the fan is noisy and I would like to replace it. I can't seem to find any information anywhere like a parts list or schematic. I don't have an oscilloscope but I am measuring both ac and dc voltage when I put a meter on the voltage source going to the fan. Does anyone have any ideas? I hate to just toss it. Thanks, John |

This seems to be a design restriction, lots of MV-962 owners complain of noisy fan. I would try replacing with a modern laptop fan but regret I don't have any further information. |

I think I will take some measurements (voltage and current draw) to ball park load impedance. Thanks for your quick response! John |
