What is "K" factor in PCB Current(Amp) Formula?

What is "K" factor in given below PCB Current(amp) Formula ??

i Search from many site related to PCB designing but could'nt find what Actually "K" is? Any body can please elaborate about K factor? current Passing through PCB is calculated by I=K×∆T0.44×Ac0.72 here ∆T = raise temperature, Ac= Cross sectional Area, & I of course Current(Amp). K=???? Thanks'

Hello Raza, that reference says 'from curve-fitting to IPC 2221 curves'. That's an Engineer's way of saying "couldn't calculate it but here's a best guess that seems to work". Hope this helps, mike.
