COMPACITOR VALUE

Hello i have a power supply unit for a nec plasma tv, p/n aax33009401 its mising a compascitor on number c272 and i need to know the value can u please help thank you

Sorry, the schematic and parts list seem not to be available to the general public.

I refer you to the warning on the Amazon website that the part number of the board must match exactly the previous one.

Why do you think the capacitor is missing? It might just be omitted in this version. This often happens.

so u cannot tell me the uf v of that compacitor. then how do i figure out what the uf v is for it.

yes i know this and it is the same so why do u keep saying amazon i know there was a compacitor there because there is solder where it was

If it was omitted there will still be smooth solder there because that's the way the flow solder process works.

If on the other hand there are obvious signs of removal do you have any idea who did this? Previous owner? Repair shop? Did it work?

Perhaps a note of caution is advisable here. Power supply capacitors may have more properties than just the capacitance and working voltage. It is often necessary to consider the ripple current in a dc supply or the ESR (equivalent series resistance) in an SMPS (switched mode power supply). Also important is the gas venting arrangement. I would advise taking it to a qualified NEC dealer.
