Photodiode + Op Amp Circuit

I am trying to build a photodiode circuit using the following photodiode and opamp.

Photodiode: http://www.vishay.com/ppg?81812 Op Amp: http://www.analog.com/en/products/amplifiers/operational-amplifiers/general-purpose-op-amps/ad8063.html

The only information of my input light pulse is 1. Bandwidth 300KHz 2. Wavelength 544nm 3. Intensity of light is very low - provided by fluorescence powder, transmitted over 15m of 1mm core plastic optical fibre cable

How can I build a circuit with lesser noise and large amplification or incoming signal?

I do not have any engineering background and please ask me for more information if needed.

The last time I did this I used AD806 wired as a transconductance amplifier with a low value of feedback resistor carefully chosen to minimise voltage and current noise. This was followed by many low gain stages to achieve low noise broadband performance. Sorry, can't tell you any more because the final design belongs to my employer.

Hi Mike, Do you think this circuit is alright?

If I need more amplification, I could connect them in series where Vout would goes to the next Opamp "-in' right?

What is the max for the range of values for the resistor would you suggest?

And does it really does noise cancellation if the opamp are connected in parallel?

Looks like Vout tries to go negative, which it can't.

My work on this was for Zellweger, since taken over by Honeywell. I was working on Open Path Flammable Infrared Gas Detection as shown on page 40 of:

Your requirement is similar in requiring broad band and low noise. This is a very advanced problem and requires considerable analogue skill to solve. I regret I cannot help because of the proprietary nature of the information.
