My friend and I built this circuit for measuring how loud it got in the mechanical engineering computer cluster when the underclassmen where between classes. The circuit worked OK, it’s almost imposable to measure volume in a room from a single point. But the real project was the data collection with a micro controller (an old one mind you, assembly code).
Takes in a signal from a powered microphone and outputs a voltage proportional to amplitude of the input sine waves.
